Ok, so when I read the title of the article I thought this girl went to the hair salon to get a relaxer. Nope, she did it herself at home. Now everyone knows if you risk doing a relaxer yourself there may be consequences. A lot of people do get good results doing it at home themselves and it’s all good. But when is it that people will begin to take responsibility for their own choices? Aren’t warnings on boxes enough? Do store owners have to also back up the warnings already included on the box? Why has suing become the soup of the day? What are your thoughts?

Read the full relaxer that caused balding article here.

{June 13, 2009}   Bad Hair Day Forecaster

Here is a really cool tool for those of you that live in the United States. Can you imagine having a bad hair day locator tool that helps you forecast which location on any particular day that is humid? That would be cool. This would help you to choose the right products for your hair. Check out the bad hair day forcaster tool online.

OK, this video touched a nerve. It’s so sad! “Daughter’s Who Hate Their Curly Hair?” It is very common. I remember as a young child I used to put my sister’s red sweater on my head. And the sleeves of the sweater would hang down over my ears and I would whip those sleeves back as if they were bangs imagining I had long, flowing hair. I didn’t hate my hair, but I did sometimes wish I had long straight hair.

Why can’t we love ourselves the way we are?

Check out this video… A daughter who hates her curls. It will touch you.

Please feel free to leave your thoughts. Did you love or hate your curls as a child?

Hey Gorgeous!

Are you still rockin’ those curls! You better be because you look great! Regardless of what the media tells us or friend’s, sometimes we need to spread the curl love to each other. Your curls represent you and you shouldn’t have it any other way!

So, in the spirit of loving our curls I thought I’d post this link to an article I wrote to ensure you grow healthy curly hair. It’s not enough just to shampoo, condition and use the latest curly hair product. Sometimes good old fashion tools provided by mother nature can do the trick.

Read this article titled: Naturally Grow Your Hair With Protein. It’s a very informative read that will have you considering some new things in your hair care routine.

Enjoy the read!

… and inspire your curls!
